Our Mission

To combine pioneering research and exploration, long-term community engagement and innovative multimedia production to protect the Heart of Borneo Rainforest from further destruction for the benefit of its inhabitants – plants, animals and people – and the wider world..

How do we achieve this mission?

• By creating sound scientific data in areas where none currently exist
• Through the development of collaborative community empowerment and capacity building programs
• By creating interactive experiences to educate and inspire people around the world
• By facilitating, contributing to and promoting wider conservation efforts such as the trilateral Heart of Borneo Initiative

By developing a truly international collaborative network of researchers, field stations, charities, media producers and educational institutions we aim to create a conservation force that is greater than the sum of its parts.

• A collaborative network of multilateral partners supporting each other to protect the Heart of Borneo rainforest from destruction
• For the Heart of Borneo rainforest to be lodged in the international public psyche as a place of enormous environmental, social, and economic value
